Closed Days in 2026

Eastertide closed period:  11th 19th Apr

Summer closed period: 1st – 31st Aug

Autumn closed period: 14th – 22nd Nov

Please note that over the Autumn our Access work means that we will have reduced guest capacity. During this time, the main guest wing will be closed and residential guests will stay at Michaelgarth, whilst continuing to eat and worship with the community in the main house, excepting groups who have booked Michaelgarth as a self-catering house. The Chapel will remain open for worship but there will be no access to the Library or Study Room. We look forward to re-opening the main house in Spring with full wheelchair access to the Chapel and ground floor, including an accessible bathroom. The Quiet Days will proceed as normal, as our builders will not be onsite over the weekends. If you need further information in order to plan a visit to the community, please do send us an email. More information on the Access work can be found in our latest newsletter.
