Christmas Services

We look forward to welcoming those who would like to celebrate Christmas with the community at Tymawr. If you are planning to attend a service, it always helps us if you can email so that we know that you are coming and have enough books and chairs set out. (But please don’t feel shy about joining us if you haven’t remembered to send an email). We look forward to celebrating the birth of Christ with you all.

Christmas Eve

  • 5:30 pm        First Vespers
  • 11:30 pm     Midnight Eucharist celebrated by Revd. Catherine Haynes, followed by hot chocolate in the calefactory (for those who so wish)

Christmas Day

  • 7.00         Silent Prayer
  • 7:30         Lauds
  • 8.45         Terce
  • 10.00       Eucharist celebrated by Bishop Dominic Walker
  • 5:15         Second Vespers with carols around the crib
  • 7:30         Silent Prayer
  • 8:00         Night Prayer

Monday 29th December at 3.00pm – carol singing around the crib followed by community tea at 4.00pm in the library … please bring any musical instruments!

Wednesday 31st December: Prayers for peace and healing for our world: 11.30pm – 12.30am in chapel
