Photographs in Granta Magazine

Suzie Howell is a photographer based in London. Since 2019 she has visited Tymawr a number of times to pursue a photographic work exploring “themes of belonging, choice, feminism, our connection to space, land and time and how much of ourselves we’re willing to reveal to other people.”

The sisters have sat for portraits for her, including the five in the gallery below. Now eleven of her photographs have been published in Granta Magazine, under the title “Plainsong”, with accompanying text by the writer A. K. Blakemore.
