Good Friday

Good Friday

18 April 2025

Guests are welcome to join us for the central offices of Good Friday, which will be as follows:

11.30 Sext and None in the Chapel

12 noon: The Good Friday Liturgy: Dramatic Telling of the Passion followed by Preaching of the Cross by Bishop Dominic Walker (Chapel)

12.30 - 2.45: Either silent Stations of the Cross in the grounds or silent prayer in Chapel

2.45 Conclusion of the Three Hours in the Campo Santo (the enclosed sisters burial ground on your left as you go up the drive)

Guests are welcome to all or part of the day. We keep the house and grounds quiet and prayerful; the Stations of the Cross in the grounds is walked solo with an accompanying booklet through the fields and gardens, so you may like to bring sturdy shoes. It helps to have approximate numbers at services, so we encourage you to contact us beforehand at if possible.
